Are you an experienced Class 1 or Class 2 Driver looking for an exciting opportunity in waste management? We have the perfect role for you! Our client, a leading waste management company, is seeking a talented and reliable driver to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating a Class 1 or Class 2 HGV and transporting waste materials to designated locations. Your main duties will include:
Safely driving and manoeuvring the vehicle in accordance with traffic regulations
Loading and unloading waste materials at various sites
Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
Valid Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence
CPC qualification
Digital tachograph card
Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Good communication and teamwork capabilities
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday with a start time of 5am and finish at 2pm. Our client is offering a competitive hourly rate of £14.50. This position has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
