Purchase Ledger Assistant

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with one of our longstanding clients in the Garforth area of Leeds as they look to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Process Invoices onto Sage 200 matching with purchase order's and delivery notes
- Request and chase up approvals of invoices
- Follow controls ensuring proof of delivery/approvals are captured
- Support in daily monitoring of the email inbox
- Reconcile statements, requesting documents where required
- Deal with supplier queries and escalate where necessary
- Ad hoc projects as requested by the Purchase Ledger Manager and senior finance team
Person Specification:
- Good organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to time constraints
- Experience of 2-way and 3-way match
- Sage 200 experience
