Package: Up to £140K + package ?As the Head of Financial Risk, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive insights and assurance to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) regarding the financial risks faced by the organization. These risks encompass insurance, market, counterparty credit, and credit risks. Your responsibilities will include evaluating the adequacy of capital and other mitigation mechanisms in addressing these risks effectively.Through your leadership, you will ensure that the Financial Risk Function delivers valuable analysis and guidance, enabling the CRO to make informed decisions and maintain a robust risk management framework.Key experience required:
- Experience in a Senior Financial Risk role with relevant experience in either Insurance or wider Financial Services
- In-depth knowledge of Financial Risk frameworks, risk management methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and financial models.
- Experience of managing teams is highly advantageous
- Ability to interact with several different audiences
