Goodman Masson are excited to be recruiting for a leading financial services company based in London. We are seeking a Supplier Management Adviser to join their dynamic team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Paying up to £38,000 with a performance bonus included for achieving this objective within the 12-month period.

Role Overview
The Supplier Management Adviser will work closely with Relationship Managers across the business to train and upskill them in fulfilling their supplier management responsibilities effectively. The goal is for Relationship Managers to become self-sufficient in these tasks, with ongoing support from the Supplier Management Manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Monitoring and Training: Assist Relationship Managers in adopting supplier management responsibilities and build monitoring tools to ensure all elements are managed effectively.
  • Supplier Onboarding: Ensure suppliers are onboarded accurately and in line with the process.
  • Database Management: Maintain accuracy and completeness of supplier information continuously.
  • Exit Planning: Document and manage supplier exit plans and conversations.
  • Operational Resiliency: Develop and record testing plans to ensure operational resiliency.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct annual due diligence reviews.
  • Performance Reviews: Schedule and record regular performance review meetings.
  • Contract Management: Adhere to the contract renewal process.
  • Sustainability: Ensure compliance with sustainability requirements.
  • Ongoing Management: Demonstrate the ability to manage all elements of supplier management as a BAU activity.

Requirements
Essential:

  • Knowledge of financial services products and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, confident in managing relationships.
  • Goal-driven with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • High personal integrity and strong ethical framework.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desirable:

  • Suitable investment industry qualification (IMC, IAQ, CII).
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
