H&S Compliance Systems Coordinator - Belvedere, Manchester

Purpose of the Role

To assist the Compliance Lead with the day-to-day health and safety Compliance and CAFM systems to provide support across the Savills property management portfolio.

To proactively enhance and develop the systems within the Property Management division.

Support the wider H&S team and site teams to understand their H&S compliance requirements and assist in interpretating compliance documentation as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all managed sites comply with H&S business requirements and statutory provisions and that the business obtains accurate visibility of this through proactive monitoring of systems.
  • Identify any areas of none compliance and take action with site teams and central colleagues to facilitate improvement.
  • Provide compliance management reporting to clients, the department head and other members of the senior H&S team by analysing H&S compliance KPI performance and evaluating trends in none compliance and their root cause.
  • Provide advice, assistance and training to site based teams, employees, clients and suppliers on matters relating to system compliance.
  • Assist personnel through face to face meetings at a site level, teams calls and monitoring the compliance support email inbox, ensuring reference is made to other compliance advisors when necessary.
  • Produce compliance performance reports, at fixed regular intervals to clients and Savills management personnel.
  • Communicate effectively to clients, suppliers, managers and employees and hence, improve the overall performance of the business from a H&S compliance perspective.
  • Create user guides for site personnel and the H&S team to assist in the understanding of the compliance systems
  • Conduct all Compliance System Administration functions ensuring that the system is cleansed
  • Assist in mobilisation and off boarding of sites coming in and out of the portfolio ensuring that welcome packs and training is provided in a timely manner
