Role Overview

Axon Moore are working with an exciting E-Commerce firm who are growing rapidly and looking to bolster their strong commercial team.

Working in an SME, this Commercial Manager role will have significant exposure across the whole business, and would be an ideal opportunity for someone looking to have a bigger impact on the business.

With profitability a key focus for the business as they gear up toward a possible PE transaction in the next couple of years, the Commercial team are held in high regard and have a big impact on the business.

We are looking to speak with commercial minded individuals who have a strong data skillset and excellent stakeholder management skills. People will be in an Analytical role now, whether this be Finance or Operational, and open to speaking to both Qualified Accountants or otherwise.

Manchester (3 days in the office)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Partner to the Operation team and various internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and produce insights to support the growth of the business.
  • Review daily and weekly operational performance to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Measure the performance of various business units and drive change with improvement initiatives.
  • Establish a balanced set of KPIs to measure the pipeline of work.
  • Engage with the wider business to drive improvements.
  • Lead commercial projects.
  • Ownership of data integrity and improvement.
  • Lead and develop the Commercial Analyst.
  • Complete ad hoc information requests and analysis to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Identify skills gaps and process issues, proposing improvements as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to increase performance and revenue by keeping up to date with market trend.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Accountant or working in a similar Commercial role.
  • Advanced excel skillset.
  • Excellent communication skills, acting as a partner for various stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Commercially focused.
  • Ambitious individual who is keen to progress.
