This role seeks a diligent Finance Assistant who is eager to contribute to the accounting and finance department within the luxury healthcare industry. The candidate will be expected to handle financial tasks with precision and contribute positively to the team.

You will also take ownership of the purchase ledger and be supporting the management accountants.

Description

  • Daily processing of supplier invoices
  • Maintaining accurate records and linking delivery notes with supplier invoices and purchase orders
  • Producing weekly payment runs
  • Create and maintain Supplier records within Sage
  • Dealing with supplier queries and correspondences
  • Ensuring correct sign offs on all purchase orders raised in accordance with the business's procedures
  • Ensuring the purchase order process is being adhered to, so that there are no delays in processing supplier invoices
  • Manage inventory movements within Sage to ensure accurate reporting
  • Monthly reconciliation of the clinic accounts on Xero
  • Support the Management Accountant with P/L reviews on expenditure within the business
  • Assist the Management Accountant in creating financial reports and other finance Ad hoc tasks required
  • Working as part of a team to ensure departmental objectives are achieved and procedures improved
  • Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures
  • Answer questions and provide assistance to stakeholders,
  • Collaborate effectively with the accounting and finance team

Profile

  • Previous use of SAGE and Xero is highly desirable
  • Must have previous experience working on Purchase Ledger
  • Excellent IT and communication Skills
  • Have the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Be able to prioritise workload
  • Work well towards deadlines
  • Have high attention to detail and take pride in your work
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
