JOB- Manufacturing Support Engineer
LOCATION- East Sussex
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £24,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience; please advise)
My client design and manufacture a variety of plastic products and they are looking to take on a Development Engineer on a permanent basis in the East Sussex area.
The Development Engineer
will ideally have the following attributes:
- HNC / HND / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Fresh Graduate's will be considered
- Any placement / experience in the engineering sector would be desirable
- Basic CAD knowledge would be desirable
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have good communication skills both verbal and written
- Good proficiency with using Microsoft Office
The Development Engineer role will involve:
- Working hands on within the Engineering team
- Supporting new products into the production process
- Integrating with company documentation procedures
- Supporting the Development team
- Some work with suppliers liaising on technical matters
- Communicating with different team members
- Working on different projects and achieving the timescales set
