As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will have the opportunity to enhance team coordination, resolve aged debt, and streamline payment processes.
- Lead process improvement and team coordination initiatives
- Analyse, prioritise, and direct the team's focus on aged debt resolution
- Oversee statement reconciliation and payment runs in line with the timetable
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve and streamline accounts payable processes
- Analyse, prioritise, and direct team to focus on old debt resolution
- Hold regular team meetings to enhance communication and coordination
- Oversee statement reconciliation and payment runs
- Conduct high-level query resolution and training of new employees
- Experience managing a high-performing accounts payable team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and direct team tasks
- Excellent communication skills to improve relations with suppliers, buyers, and sites
- Proven ability to update senior management on progress and areas of concern
- Extensive experience in AP process improvement and query resolution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) desirable
- Proven track record in managing accounts payable functions within a similar industry
