Media Sales Account Director - Client Profiles and Content Campaigns

BizClik is looking for two additional experienced B2B sales professionals to join our growing and successful sales team based in Norwich selling client profiles, interviews and company reports across our websites and digital platforms to business leaders within specific business sectors across our 20+ media brands.

The role would suit an experienced sales professional (Media Sales experience is useful but not essential as full training will be given). You'll be an excellent communicator, confident talking to Senior Execs on screen or in person, looking for a new experience in a fast-scaling, highly successful Media Business. You'll be professional, persuasive and target-driven and be happy using the latest data alongside industry-leading solutions to sell our marketing programs to clients.

This is a front-line senior sales role where you'll have autonomy working on your own media portfolio whilst also working as part of a great team. You'll be backed by our in-house lead generation team to help set appointments and you'll be confident using LinkedIn to develop and influence a network of contacts in your sectors.

Key responsibilities:

  • You'll be tasked with helping to significantly grow the revenue across a specific portfolio of brands and platforms across digital magazines, websites, International Events and associated social and newsletter audiences.
  • Working alongside a large dedicated product team including data, marketing, campaigns and content, it's important that you have strong attention to detail, be a quick thinker, organised and work well in a team environment.
  • You will take a strategic approach to targeted research, prospecting, presenting, and managing large client relationships on an ongoing basis and will be familiar with using resources like Linkedin to achieve this.

Key activities:

  • Build new client relationships with senior-level executives, service/product providers within these sectors, industry consultants and influencers at a senior level.
  • Understand the sector strategy for your brands and engage in the portfolio plan with Editorial, marketing and events colleagues - annual, quarterly, and monthly.
  • Set up online sales appointments and deliver engaging sales presentations to existing and new clients.
  • Work closely with the management team to deliver on daily tasks, weekly goals and monthly budgets.
  • Become an influencer within the team, within BizClik and especially within your sector/brands.
  • Represent BizClik as a leader within your sector at industry events.

Core Skills:

  • Goal-oriented and sales focused.
  • Experience in building business relationships. Ability to build these with senior level decision makers across the globe both in writing, across LinkedIn and face-to-face on sales calls.
  • Strong reporting skills.
  • Native or professional standard English.
  • Good communicator - written and verbal. Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills - time, task and diary management.
  • Efficient with LinkedIn, experience of Sales Navigator & Socials preferred.
  • Understand how to use a CRM system - We use Salesforce
  • Self-belief, determination and willingness to learn, work hard and go the extra mile.
  • Excellent business presentation skills - normally on screen.

Pay & Package:

  • Salary: basic salaries of £25k-£35k dependent on experience.
  • Uncapped generous commission on all sales (up to 10% of all sales revenues). Current team annual earnings range from £60k-£115k.

Full-time, Monday - Thursday 8.30-5.30, Fridays 8:30-4:30. (Some flexibility may be needed on these hours from time to time to suit an individual client).

Experience:

Some level of sales experience (ideally 2 years) is required but we are happy to help develop and hone your skills. A positive attitude, willingness to develop and target focused approach is as important along with a professional and engaging attitude.
