Zachary Daniels are proud to be partnering with a fantastic fashion brand in their search for a Retail Property Manager to join the team. The business is entering a very exciting time of growth and development so this role will grow with the business. The head office is in Manchester but our client operates a hybrid working policy with three days in the office.
Key Responsibilties of the Retail Property Manager
Estate Management:
- Proactively manage the existing store portfolio to deliver value;
- Proactively manage the extensive lease expiry program including managing the store closure process upon exit;
- To oversee the negotiation and management of rent reviews and lease renewals (including the documentation of zero uplift reviews)
- Proactively manage the estate for opportunities to re gear leases where commercially appropriate;
- Drive approval process of acquisitions with provision of relevant data to ensure all sites meet necessary commercial benchmarks
- Manage the groups' legal advisors on lease renewals
- Regular store/ town visits to identify issues and keep abreast of developments.
- Responsible for provision of accurate data to Finance department to ensure timely settlement of property related costs
- Manage Budget responsibilities and assess possibilities for cost efficiencies.
- Managing and developing strong relationships with current landlords and shopping centre Management.
Acquistions will play part of this Retail Property Manager role
- Support the Retail Director to identify and the negotiation on potential sites, working with retained and non-retained agents as well as landlords and developers to create new site opportunities.
- Undertaking site visits throughout the UK with the Retail team, review and consider suitable opportunities and negotiate and agree possible terms.
Required Experience for the Retail Property Manager role
- Experience in a similar retail property role.
- Strong knowledge of the retail property market ideally within fashion but critical for high street and shopping centres

Our client can offer a salary of up to £50,000 plus car, bonus and benefits package
