We are seeking a Maths Teacher to join our dynamic school located in Bexley, which boasts an Ofsted rating of ‘Good'. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan and deliver compelling Maths lessons to secondary or post-16 students, fostering a strong foundation in mathematics and analytical skills.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals.
  • Create a classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and promotes student engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching practices and contribute to the school's extracurricular programmes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest educational standards and practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in teaching Maths is advantageous, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and challenge students through effective teaching methods.
  • Proficient classroom management skills and the ability to establish a nurturing learning atmosphere.
  • A strong passion for Maths and dedication to continuous professional improvement.
