We are a dedicated charity seeking an HR Administrator with a focus on recruitment and onboarding to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process, and providing a warm welcome to new team members. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for people and a desire to contribute to a meaningful cause.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and processed.
  • Maintain and update HR databases with employee information, records, and documentation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for various HR initiatives, such as training and development programs.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance as needed.
  • Liaise with departments and provide support on HR matters.
  • Facilitate employee engagement and retention activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
  • Experience with recruitment processes and onboarding new employees.
  • Familiarity with HR software and databases.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labour laws.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
  • Good problem-solving ability.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
