Tax Assistant
Jeffries Recruitment are working with a small but growing firm in Bristol who are looking to recruit a part qualified Tax Assistant to join their close-knit team. This role is based on the north side of Bristol and would suit someone coming form a small firm environment, seeking a role with greater prospects for career progression.
Duties:
- Completing personal tax returns
- Completing Capital Gains Tax returns
- Being a team player and supporting each other with queries
- Dealing with client post, ensuring letters are checked and clients are updated.
- Trust tax returns and annual declarations
- Share transfers/reclassification.
- Various Tax calculations
- Overpayment relief claims
- Communicating with clients, ensuring their requests are fulfilled, i.e. SA302/Tax year overview requests, repayment chasing
The Person:
- Interact well with clients and other staff members.
- Meticulous attention to detail and organisation.
- Strong mathematical and administrative skills.
- Work independently but also as part of a team and help others when required.
- Conversant with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ambition to succeed & progress within the firm.
- Strong work ethic.
