About the role
Due to expansion within the team, we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join us in Grimsby. You will be maintaining the existing code base, whilst also developing new systems using C#, .Net 6/8 in AWS Cloud.

You will be responsible for:
- Providing 2nd Level Support for production Terminal systems.
- Improving Terminal Efficiency through Digitization.
- Providing peer to peer support with colleagues.
- Maintaining CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Working in a SCRUM team alongside like minded people.
About you
We are seeking a skilled professional with experience in C#, .Net Core 3.1, and .Net 6/8, alongside proficiency in Amazon Web Services (Cloud). Experience in operational software is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a background in decoupled architecture utilizing event messaging platforms like Kafka and possess several years of experience to seamlessly integrate into our team.
The role requires someone who can effortlessly switch between engaging in workplace conversations and focusing on tasks to ensure project completion. Occasional travel may be required. We are looking for someone who is eager to work with the latest technology and advocate for necessary changes, prioritising the right approach over the easiest one. Our team thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing lively discussions about lunch plans with intense focus during programming sessions when work demands it.
