The Role:

  • The Supply Chain Administrator will work closely with the Head of Supply, playing a key role in supporting the overall supply chain operations.
  • This role involves maintaining seamless operations and contributing to selected supply chain projects.
  • As the Supply Chain Administrator, you will be the primary point of contact and coordinator for our third-party logistics providers, ensuring smooth communication and effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of order processing and maintain the sales system in coordination with the database manager.
  • Serve as the main liaison with third-party logistics providers for the chilled business, contributing to quarterly reviews and performance assessments as a Supply Chain Administrator.
  • Coordinate with customers and logistics suppliers to manage delivery schedules and address any discrepancies.
  • As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will analyse causes of wastage and manage supplier chargebacks in line with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Monitor wastage levels and oversee the sale of excess stock to brokers at favourable prices or arrange for cost-efficient disposal.
  • Track and report department KPIs, focusing on service levels and wastage.
  • Manage stock levels and place orders with our factories based in Europe.

Ideal Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Administrator position will be either a recent graduate with a technical degree or have practical experience in retail or logistics.
  • They should be detail-oriented, capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and able to work both independently and as part of a broader team.
  • The Supply Chain Administrator should also be adept at prioritizing tasks and making informed decisions.
  • Given the role's emphasis on managing third-party relationships, strong communication and presentation skills are essential to effectively convey the business's needs and achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Strong practical thinking with a sharp eye for detail and data interpretation.
  • Highly organized, hardworking, and efficient.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
