Full time: Monday - 7:30-16:00 and Friday 7:30 - 15:30

We are looking for someone who has prior service engineer experience, ideally with welding experience and the skills and knowledge of the industry. You will be carrying out maintenance and repairs to our tanker bodies and all associated equipment and systems, including; pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuits.

Your main job responsibilities will be:

  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs to tanker bodies and all associated equipment and systems
  • Post build fabrication & modification of body equipment and associated parts to suit customer requirements
  • Periodic / post repair tank testing inspections and sign off
  • Servicing and repairs to both Whale and Non- Whale vehicles, including welding
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Adhere, and work to, Health and Safety regulations

We are looking for someone who is / has:

  • Knowledge and experience of working with commercial vehicles, plant machinery / HGV vehicles
  • An engineering background including knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electric circuits
  • A background in welding would be desirable
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive is essential
  • A good problem solver with the ability to see an issue to its end
  • The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces would be desirable

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
