Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Deputy Restaurant Manager to assist in overseeing the daily operations of our fine dining restaurant. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of service, manage staff effectively, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train restaurant staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure the restaurant is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the restaurant.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotional activities to attract and retain guests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fine dining restaurant, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality service and enhancing guest experiences.

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive salary of £39,000 per annum.
