The Role

You will be on the front line supporting our clients attending courses virtually and in person. This critical role also works directly with our Learning Consultants who deliver courses from our office in Canary Wharf. You'll ensure the facilities and equipment are in good working order and that all courses are delivered to a high standard.

You will be the first-line escalation for all tier 1 IT, technical and facility issues, resolving them swiftly and efficiently, whilst continually identifying ways to improve the service we offer. You'll demo and prepare equipment and act as on-site escalation for IT and tech issues as well as troubleshooting problems for clients joining courses remotely.

What You Will Bring

With your experience in a public, customer-facing role, you'll bring a commitment to quality, frontline support. You will have experience of planning, troubleshooting and innovation. Whilst training will be provided, you'll also have a good understanding of Windows OS, MS office and online conferencing platforms.

You'll liaise with our service-managed office provider for facility related issues and work as the front-line support for clients and Learning Consultants, so the ability to interact productively, confidently and effectively is essential.

To ensure you can troubleshoot problems, you'll be organised, decisive, detail-orientated and able to multitask under pressure. As someone who is habitually punctual, and flexible, you'll be a team player but equally comfortable working independently.

About the Team

As Operations Assistant, you'll be part of our specialist technical team as part of the wider Operations team. You will also support admin and data for the Learning Consultant relations team, helping to maintain our organisational working relationships with the instructor community via efficient and effective planning.

The Package:

The salary for the Operations Assistant role is £13,500 for 15 hours per week.
Because this role is pivotal to the support of our Learning Consultants and clients while they attend our on-site courses, you'll be based at our fantastic offices in Canada Square, Canary Wharf. You'll be working 07.30-12.30 or 08.00-13.00 depending on requirements, Monday to Wednesday. These are our busiest days for in-person support.
