The Fire and Rescue Service in Nottinghamshire have an opportunity to join their dynamic team as a Risk and Assurance and Training Administrator.

Risk and Assurance and Training Administrator Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 8PP

  • 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
  • Permanent
  • Salary Grade 3: £25,119 – £26,873

The role is at the heart of the fire service and ensures smooth coordination of training programmes and assisting managers in the Risk and Assurance Department. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities

  • Support your team with general administrative duties such as the management of calendars, arranging meetings, handling enquires, making room bookings and responding to queries.
  • Coordinate training courses by carrying out key tasks to ensure that employees have the right training for their role. This includes responsibilities such as booking venues, allocating courses, managing waiting lists and resourcing trainers.
  • Support and coordinate requests from managers in Risk & Assurance.
  • Help to produce reports by using various systems to gather key statistics for the SDC Training Delivery Manager.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Have experience in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in providing secretarial and administrative support.
  • The ability to be able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and be able to work independently as well as part of a team to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrate ability to write reports and letters and have experience in database software.
  • OCR/RSA Level 2 (or equivalent qualification).
