Description
- Ensure all properties comply with necessary building safety regulations
- Oversee and manage all safety-related issues within the property department
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
- Lead a team of safety officers and delegate tasks as necessary
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including residents and local authorities
- Manage and coordinate any necessary safety training for staff
- Prepare regular reports on safety performance and initiatives
Profile
A successful Interim Building Safety Manager should have:
- A thorough understanding of building safety regulations
- Clear understanding of legislation related to fire safety in complex environments.
- Minimum of three/ five years related experience in managing building risks. Preferably in a Building Safety or Fire Risk Assessment role previously.
- Experience of effectively collaborating with external partners / stakeholders in order to negotiate effective management of High Rise Residential Building (HRRB).
- Experience in property management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Proactive approach in identifying and resolving safety issues
