This is an entry level finance role with primarily remote working requiring travel to an office in Wareham once every 2 weeks. This is a great first role to begin a career in finance and offers great flexibility with only occassional office working required.
Candidates must have good excel skills and ideally have some office based experience although other work experience may be considered. Good communication and team work skills are essential.
Key Functions for this role include
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of the property and other fixed asset ledgers, using the Asset 4000 (A4K) fixed assets module, for all group companies.
- Process property additions and disposals as advised by Development Fixed Asset Accountant.
- Process component replacements within A4K (including journal preparation).
- Create monthly depreciation entries for review and processing.
- Prepare monthly component accrual entries for review and processing.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for housing and other fixed assets, for all group companies.
- Identify any "other" fixed assets for serviced charge purposes.
- Reconcile housing stock between the Hub and A4K.
