Finance Administartor

We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join a private equity backed business with offices in Manchester city centre. The successful candidate will be integral to supporting the overall goals and objectives of the finance department. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and have strong computer literacy skills. This is an exciting opportunity to further your career in finance and work for a growing business where there is lots of scope to develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up new users on Xero
  • Inputting and checking new user details
  • Checking for and chasing any missing information
  • Accounts Payable
  • Invoice approval
  • Supplier payments and bank reconciliations for the Head Office
  • Processing expenses and some finance systems work
  • Scheduling monthly review meetings
  • Banking administration
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tasks within the finance team when necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
  • Ideally have some relevant experience in financial administration or accounting.
  • Knowledge of finance practices and accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
  • Excellent ability to analyse, interpret and effectively communicate financial information.
