Brand Manager

Posted by AF Selection.

Due to some tremendous growth, this fabulous comms agency is looking to bring on board an Internal Comms Account Manager - a brand new role within the team. They've got work coming out of their ears, and lots of new business pitches still being delivered, so if you've always fancied focussing on internal comms within an agency environment, please keep on reading!

The role:

As mentioned, this is a new role for the business as they continue expanding. They've been established over 20 years and have some exceptional household names on their client roster. Working as part of a niche team (which will grow further throughout the year) you will craft engaging comms campaigns for brands across retail, tech, fitness and financial services.

It will be your responsibility to develop and deliver inspiring internal comms campaigns, strategies and projects from start to finish. You'll love to dig for insight, conducting desk-based/phone research to find out all there is to know about a project before working with other internal teams to shape and deliver plans or content, or whatever it is that the brand experience requires. You could work across internal comms disciplines such as employee engagement, business strategy, transformation change and leadership communications.

On a day-to-day basis you'll create comms plans and editor9al calendar and craft communications solutions to achieve your objectives. You'll identify key content themes and propose engaging content formats to suit clients' needs. You'll research and gather insights on clients' comms needs, strategies, audiences, comms channels and messages and will generate content to bring their internal stories to live.

What we're looking for:

So, there's a couple of backgrounds we can consider for this role. You could be in an internal comms role already but be keen to switch to an agency environment. Or you could be in a more traditional PR or Social Media agency role and have some understanding of the requirements of internal communications from projects you've already worked on and are keen to transition into an exclusively internal role. Either way, you'll have strong creative copywriting skills with strong editing and proof-reading ability, and you'll have experience of insights and research - you'll be naturally curious, wanting to really dig deep into a brief so that you can make informed decisions.

What's on Offer?

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, usually 2/3 days in the office every week and salary will be between £30-35,000. The offices are very centrally based, and the company is genuinely one of the most flexible employers that we work with. There's all the usual benefits you'd expect - 25 days holiday as well as your birthday, pension, etc, but the biggest pull for this role is the sheer opportunity. They want you to do well, they want to promote you. Your line manager wants you to be after their job (eventually, not on day 1 perhaps!) because that means everyone will be progressing and achieving job satisfaction.
