Catering / Hospitality Manager

Our client based in near Swanley, Kent is seeking an experienced Events/Catering Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of weddings, events, and functions, ensuring customer expectations are met to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hospitality/Events Management, possess excellent communication and organisational skills, and be capable of managing evening and weekend functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise all aspects of banquet events.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Supervise the team in a positive and encouraging manner.
  • Ensure high-quality guest services are consistently maintained throughout events.
  • Oversee evening and weekend functions.
  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of food for events.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards.
  • Full driving license required.
