Social Media Executive

- Job Type: Fixed Term Contract, (approximately 6 months)
- Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per annum
We are seeking a Social Media Executive to manage social media channels and create compelling content that resonates with the audience. This role is crucial in maintaining a professional online presence for the company and requires someone with a passion for digital marketing and a knack for engaging communication.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Manage and lead the social media agency to align with vision, target market, tone of voice, and key messaging.
- Oversee social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Plan, schedule, and publish content that supports key messages, brand campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support eCommerce strategies and improve online copy using Google Analytics data.
- Manage social media competitions and create compelling copy for online products, blogs, brand pages, and landing pages.
- Provide social media strategy updates to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with digital trends and practices to ensure our social media strategy remains cutting-edge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing social media tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with remarketing and display advertising, including video on demand and YouTube.
- Ability to track ad accounts and analyse performance.
- Excellent communication skills with impeccable grammar and spelling.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Retail background and/or SEO experience would be advantageous.
