IT Supplier Manager

Summary We are currently recruiting for an IT Supplier Manager to join our IT Supplier Management and ITAM team.

This is the perfect opportunity for a proactive and customer focussed individual, who enjoys working with their colleagues and third parties. You'd be ensuring that the Trust's third-party IT suppliers and partners continually provide value and enable our wider cause.

We're looking for someone who has worked within a busy and sometimes challenging environment and subsequently has the right skills to work as part of a wider IT Operations team, and related Service Delivery areas and stakeholders.

What it's like to work here You'll be joining a team of 8, made up of motivated and supportive IT Supplier Managers, IT Asset Managers and IT Operations Officer, who really want to drive forward the maturity and efficiency around both functions in line with the needs of the Trust. We have some great tools at our disposal, and strong relationships to nurture and develop.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office meet with colleagues and carry out work. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing You will be part of the IT Supplier Management function who are part of the larger IT team. We'll be looking for someone to work within IT Operations but also collaborate closely and build up strong relationships with your allocated third-party suppliers and partners, whilst engaging when relevant with internal teams. You'll be responsible for holding frequent supplier review meetings with supplier representatives and key stakeholders and reporting on key metrics e.g. Service SLAs, Service Improvements in line with the Supplier Management Framework.

You'll reporting on key metrics and demonstrate where suppliers are/aren't providing NT with maximum benefit from our procured products and services and participate in the procurement activity led by our IT Commercial team for new suppliers, including taking these through and championing the NT Supplier Onboarding Process, and manage the IT Operations budget with respect to Supplier spend

For this position we're looking for someone who has: •Experience of building and maintaining relationships with partners, third parties, and key stakeholders against a supplier management framework •Managed contracts and worked with an IT Commercial or Procurement function •Measured and reported against supplier performance to maintain value in delivery •Experience identifying and mitigating supply chain risk •Financial acumen and experience managing budgets •Great communication skills with the ability to influence others •Working knowledge of ITIL (v3 or v4)
