JOB – C&I Design Engineer
LOCATION – Northampton
TERM - Permanent
SALARY – Competitive depending on skillset
A Northampton based Engineering company are currently looking for a C&I Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The
C&I Design Engineer
will ideally have the following attributes:
- NVQ or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
- Previous experience designing & developing systems.
- Good knowledge of electrical design packages such as AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks Electrical or Eplan.
- PLC programming experience & good software understanding.
- Knowledge of ProfiNET, EtherNet, Modbus etc.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
- Full life cycle development of control systems from design through to commissioning.
- Testing & fault finding.
- Producing design specifications & ensuring designs meet requirements.
- Providing commissioning support.
- Ensuring health & safety requirements are met at all times.
