£45,000 – £60,000 with a 30% bonus on fees billed and paid above target (typically 3x salary)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with over four years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our team in Chippenham. This role is ideal for someone eager to balance a successful career with a more relaxed work environment, without compromising on earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse and engaging caseload, including consortium agreements, land and property transactions (including those by charities), planning agreements, property finance, and mortgage arrangements.
  • Handle option agreements, overage/development clawback agreements, and easements/right of way issues.
  • Organize and maintain an efficient file management system, ensuring compliance with timescales and regulatory standards.
  • Provide legal advice on Ecclesiastical property matters due to our role as Diocesan Registrars for Salisbury and Winchester (experience in this area is a plus, but not mandatory).
  • Continuously enhance your professional development and legal expertise.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 4 years' PQE as a Solicitor.
  • A proven ability to manage your own caseload and an interest in business development.
  • Ideally, you will have an established network of contacts or a following.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
