e-Commerce Executive

An exciting opportunity exists with my client a £multi-million market leading player in the e-commerce B2C sector based in Warwickshire.

About the Role:

As an eCommerce Executive, you'll closely collaborate with our eCommerce Manager, playing a pivotal role in a skilled team dedicated to optimising customer experience and conversion on our eCommerce platform(s). This role involves fostering a collaborative work environment and contributing to the success of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the eCommerce Manager in achieving key objectives.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve organic search results and rankings.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and SEO analysis using tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, or SEOmoz.
  • Create visually appealing content, both written and video, in collaboration with internal and external teams to resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics, anticipating trends and fine-tuning campaigns for optimal results.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Assist in creating Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) tests to enhance customer engagement and eCommerce conversions.
  • Focus on micro-actions and next-best actions to optimise user experience and improve conversions.
  • Track and contribute to the preparation of relevant KPI reports for the SEO & Content Manager and the broader Keswick business.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to align SEO and CRO efforts with overall business goals.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in conversion rate optimisation and the eCommerce industry.

General responsibilities:

  • Develop and instil a passionate, high-performance, and customer-centred culture with a talent-focused approach at all levels.
  • Recruit, train, and retain a highly engaged team of eCommerce executives as we expand our brands and revenues.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualifications in Marketing, Business, or a related field, exceeding A-level standards.
  • Proven eCommerce experience with a focus on SEO and content management.
  • Core understanding of SEO best practices and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation techniques and online customer acquisition strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team effectively in a hybrid working environment.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.
  • Empathy and understanding of brand positioning and consumer needs.
  • Preferably, experience in a similar or larger size retailer.
  • Energetic personality, ideally with some experience in a Group structure.
  • Highly numerate with a strong understanding of core KPIs and the ability to present recommendations at a senior level.
  • Excited about being part of a multi-channel business and keen to grow and optimise an online channel.

What's On Offer:

  • Salary: £24k to £30k per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Annual Leave: 33 days, including bank holidays.
  • Pension: Auto-enrolment scheme.
  • Location: Coventry CV6, with hybrid working options (2-3 days per week onsite with the team).
