Our client are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their City of London HQ. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and optimising supply chain operations. Description

  • Coordination & Scheduling: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of transportation, including scheduling shipments, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Supplier & Carrier Management: Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to manage logistics processes, negotiate rates, and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and work closely with warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely stock management.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve logistics issues, implementing proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyse current logistics processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Profile

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within the food, beverage, or nutritional industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
