Ticketing & Trade Sales Manager - hospitality

Description

As Ticketing and Trade Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the overall ticketing and sales strategy, helping to ensure the key trade relationships are developed and managed to ensure commercial aims. You'll work closely alongside the Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams, as well as other members of management team supporting the overall department function.

Hey duties will include:

  • Proactively develop and implement contracts for third party and travel trade sellers, establishing and maintaining positive commercial relationships to help increase revenue
  • Proactively target companies and organisations to increase group sales, to be responsible for driving group sales direct to consumer and manage this process end to end
  • Deputise when required for the Head of Sales and Ticketing
  • Strategising new ticketing opportunities and partnerships
  • Assist in the management of guest retention and growth, including database management, super-fan growth and complaint resolution
  • Compile and distribute weekly sales reports and assist with data tasks when required
  • Complete venue and sales capacity management
  • Actively seek out new opportunities, and spot gaps in the current operation where more income can be generated
  • Liaise between departments to support guest requests and changes
  • Manage all aspects of group and corporate bookings
  • Assist with ticket system builds including event builds, discount codes and others as and when required
  • Assist with staff scheduling when required
  • Assist with daily and weekly ticketing team tasks including responding to queries over the phone and via email as required

Profile

The successful Ticketing & Trade Sales Manager candidate will have the following:

  • Hands-on approach to sales with experience of achieving targets
  • Current networks of commercial relationships - you come with a 'black book'
  • Skilled in monitoring finances for the development of concise reporting and sales projections
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively across teams and with a variety of people internally and externally
  • Effective sales and relationship building skills
  • Managing processes including the configuration of events, installing updates, designing new reports, fixing technical problems and liaising with the system provider and other suppliers
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Commercial mindset
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and great problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to change and possess a willingness to embrace innovative ideas and new processes

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with Klaviyo or other marketing automation platform
  • Previous experience with Line-Up or ticketing and database systems
