About the Role:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons, school sports, and physical activities.
- Organize and lead a variety of extracurricular sports activities.
- Motivate young people to participate in sport and maintain an active lifestyle.
- Effectively manage and document the impact of allocated sports funding.
- Maintain clear communication with children, parents, and staff.
- Flexibility to work additional hours, including before and after school programs.
Who We're Looking For:
- An individual with at least two years' experience teaching Physical Education in a primary school setting.
- A thorough understanding of the primary PE National Curriculum.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A background in managing classroom activities and promoting inclusion.
- A coach who is caring, engaging, creative, and inspirational.
- A genuine passion for fostering the best outcomes for children.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Level 2 NGB Qualification in multiple sports.
- Essential: BTEC or A Level P.E.
- Essential: Level 3 qualification in PESS.
- Essential: Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy or GCSEs grade 5 and above.
- Desirable: HNC/HND in Sport or Sports degree.
