Personal Injury Solicitor - Award Winning Solicitors - Birmingham / Hybrid - from £35k+ & benefits
We're looking for an experienced Personal Injury Legal Executive, Paralegal or Solicitor, with 3-5 years claimant PI experience, to join an award-winning firm in Birmingham as their PI Solicitor.
The Personal Injury Solicitor will manage a mixed caseload of fast and multi-track RTA, EL, PL and clinical negligence matters on behalf of claimants from initial instruction to final completion.
As you will be liaising with clients, 3rd parties and colleagues, you will need to possess professional communication skills. As you will be providing solutions for clients, you will need to be able to communicate it in a way that they can understand, both in writing and on the telephone.
An element of the role will involve working with the team on business development and marketing initiatives, so experience in this area would be beneficial.
What we're looking for:
- 3-5 years' claimant Personal Injury experience
- Experience can be gained as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Paralegal (salary will reflect experience)
- Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of procedures and applicable law
- Ability manage your own caseload of mixed PI matters
- Experience in dealing with complex/high volume claims for claimants
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong negotiation skills
- Good advocacy skills
- Excellent written skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- IT literate
- Enthusiastic and committed nature
- Professional and approachable demeanour
- Proactive team player
