Part-Time HR Administrator

Our client, a leading organisation in the public sector, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Part-Time HR Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring compliance with policies and employment legislation.   • Contract Type: Permanent, open to Temporary to Permanent
  • Annual Salary: £14,872 actual
  • Working Pattern: Part Time, Monday to Friday 08:30-13:00 but can be flexible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records, both electronically and in paperwork.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including designing adverts and preparing interview assessment packs.
  • Provide administrative support for training initiatives, ensuring mandatory training is up to date.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Produce and analyse HR system reports to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a superuser for the HR system, providing support and advising where necessary.
  • Ensure the delivery of a customer-focused and timely HR service.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with health and safety, safeguarding, and equality and diversity initiatives.
  • Continuously develop your own HR knowledge and skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good standard of general education.
  • Experience in HR administration or working in a busy staff environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of HR terminology and understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (desirable).
