We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst (FP&A Analyst) to join our professional services firm in Birmingham. This role is critical in supporting the FP&A Manager in preparing budgets for year-end. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive FP&A experience to provide insights and analysis that drive strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for developing financial models, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
Description
- Assist the FP&A Manager in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Utilise VBA to read, write, and amend macros as necessary to enhance reporting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and insights.
Profile
- Extensive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) ideally within a professional services environment.
- Proficiency in VBA, with the ability to read and write VBA, and amend macros.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
