Out client is looking for a committed IT Support Engineer to join it's dynamic IT team providing essential support across the business.

As part of their expanding IT department, you'll need to be adaptable and eager to learn in-house systems, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base and sharing information with your colleagues.

About you:

  • A natural problem solver with a keen attention to detail and process adherence.
  • Someone who can plan, self-organise, and is enthusiastic about learning.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Valid UK drivers license holder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for IT issues or requests from office, warehouse, and store users, reporting to the Infrastructure Manager.
  • Prioritising and resolving IT issues promptly, sometimes needing to consult with colleagues.
  • Working with bespoke software platforms, requiring adaptability and logical problem-solving skills.
  • General IT administration, including configuration, installation, maintenance, and telephony.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including inventory, documentation, and audit reports.
  • Contributing to project work to ensure business systems remain fit for purpose.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and providing out-of-hours support on a rota basis.

Essential:

  • At least 6 months of IT Support experience with 1st and 2nd line duties.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10+ and Windows Server Administration, Apple MAC OS Administration, and Printer maintenance.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure), and Office 365 Administration.
  • Knowledge of networking, firewalling, VPN tunnelling, and systems security.
  • Understanding of common internet protocols (HTTP/S, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SIP) and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Capability to make and install data cabling.
  • Own vehicle with business travel insurance cover.
