Role Purpose:
We are seeking an Income Officer to foster a culture of timely payments and manage rent arrears across all tenures.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Drafting and serving NOSPs, issuing proceedings.
- Producing regular KPI reports.
- Understanding of social housing issues and best practices in income management and debt collection.
- Knowledge of Housing and Welfare Benefits.
- Proficiency with Excel and housing management software (e.g., Yardi, UC and Housing Benefit portals).
- Strong initiative, high numeracy and literacy levels.
- Understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
- Experience with Microsoft applications and Housing Rents software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
