The role:
As a Paraplanner, you'll play a crucial role within your pod system, working closely with a dedicated group of advisers and support staff to ensure that every client receives precise, well-researched financial plans. Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysis – A key aspect of what our client does is to build and develop cash flow forecasts that provide the centerpiece and foundation of the firms' financial planning solutions.
- Understanding – Listening to what clients want to achieve and why is just the starting point. Once you understand this, only then can you look at the how.
- Reviews – Creating, updating and maintaining clients' financial plans accurately is an important aspect of the Paraplanning role.
- Relationship Building - Liaison with clients is embedded into the fabric of our client's firm, and very much becoming part of the team who provide a first-class client service.
- Coordination - Assisting and working as one with the back-office team with any application/processing to ensure teamwork and collaboration is always upheld.
What do you need to apply?
- You've got at least 2 years of experience as a Paraplanner and a solid understanding of financial products, pensions, investments, and regulations.
- Ideally, you're Diploma-qualified (or working towards it) and eager to continue your professional development.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- A genuine interest in financial planning and a desire to help clients achieve their financial goals.
