We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team for a short-term contract to install solar panels on commercial properties in Brighton, UK. This role requires a professional with a strong background in electrical installations, particularly in the context of solar energy systems. The ideal candidate will be diligent, safety-conscious, and able to deliver high-quality workmanship within the specified timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels and related electrical components on commercial properties.
- Ensure all installations comply with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems associated with solar installations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical installations, specifically with solar panels.
- Must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), installation trousers, and own hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification to sign off work through NAPIT or NICEIC.
- Previous experience with commercial solar panel installations.
