My client, a leading firm, is seeking a dynamic Small Claims File Handler to join their litigated motor team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of litigated small claims track files, including those in the OIC portal, handling both quantum and liability cases with efficiency and precision. Strong negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to secure favorable settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage a caseload of small claims, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Conduct effective negotiations with clients, defendants, and third parties.
- Draft and file court documents while maintaining detailed case records.
- Guide defendants through the litigation process, setting clear expectations.
- Achieve performance targets and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in RTA file handling within a law firm or insurer.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Court Practice Rules and the Highway Code.
