Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our client. This role is offered on a remote basis with occasional travel into the office approximately 2 days a month.

The Ideal HR Business Partner will Work with senior leaders to drive the people agenda and Colleague Value Proposition. This role requires someone who can build relationships quickly, adapt to ambiguity and has up-to-date knowledge of HR legislation.

Key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:

  • Influence stakeholders to drive change to develop people capability and support the organisations people commitments
  • Produce effective reporting and insights on progress and key HR metrics to assist the HR leadership in making decisions on the overall people strategy
  • Use business requirements to lead the development and creation of strategic people plans, aligning these to business strategic objectives, business priorities, the organisation's people commitments, and the HR agenda
  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to drive the delivery of the organisation's people plans, influencing the business as needed
  • Drive the implementation of bespoke strategic HR Initiatives to enable the business to deliver its plans and meet objectives.
  • Research and share market trends with the wider business on best practices in people management to positively impact business strategy to achieve the people strategy
  • Keep updated on employment law and internal and external policies and procedures to retrain employee satisfaction and retention
  • Identify areas for development or continuous improvement
  • Provide analysis of MI to enable effective people, cost, and risk management
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally, influence and challenge where necessary
  • Lead on HR projects and initiatives when necessary
  • Work in partnership with the HR team determining the best approaches to recruitment, reward, learning and development and more, ensuring that objectives and initiatives are met
  • Lead on initiatives to support a high-performance culture
  • Support the HR change management team with business insight, and guidance when looking at changing initiatives and transformation projects
  • Support the wider business in organisational design activities

The HR Business Partner will ideally have:

  • Experience of working in a HR generalist function
  • Experience of strategic thinking within a HR setting
  • Experience of managing complex casework in all ER is essential

The HR Business Partner will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
