Our client is a fast-growing boutique systematic hedge fund, renowned for pioneering macroeconomic strategies with unmatched fund performance. This is a newly created position to work as part of the Investor Relations team to oversee the management and administration of their large internal investment vehicle for employees.
This position is ideal for a highly organised and detail-oriented Fund Accountant or Fund Administrator to manage and maintain periodic investor transactions for our client's large internal employee Fund of Funds investment vehicle working closely with external partners. You will serve as the point of contact for employees and partners regarding investment queries and facilitate the execution of the full trade lifecycle (including subscriptions, fund switches and redemptions), reconciling monthly flow, keeping trackers up to date and reviewing financial statements.
You will also spot-check daily trading P&L and NAV production by the TPA, provide employees with investor communication, views and reporting (e.g. unrealised profit/loss, cash flow simulation), coordinate cash flow and rebalancing and conduct tax analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills are required to liaise with traders, internal employees (investors), outsourced fund administrators and counterparties.
Excel skills are also essential, as the role involves working with intricate data and complex spreadsheets. Initially, the focus will be on BAU as well as automating day-to-day processes and data management, collaborating closely with the developer to build solutions.
Candidates will hold a financial or mathematical degree and have 3+ years of fund accounting or fund administration experience (gained from an asset manager or fund administrator).
