Part Time Community Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to provide support to a gentleman with his everyday tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on individuals' lives and assisting them in maintaining their independence.
Day to day of the role:
- Accompanying the individual to do his shopping and other errands.
- Providing companionship and being a positive influence in his daily life.
- Assisting with planning and organising daily activities.
- Encouraging and supporting the individual to achieve their personal goals and engage in community activities.
- Ensuring the individual's safety and well-being at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a support worker role or similar is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to the needs of the individual.
- A commitment to promoting the individual's dignity, independence, and well-being.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on the individual's needs.
- Must have right to work in the UK.
- Must be flexible on days/times available
