Title: Forklift Operator / 360 Excavator Operator
Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Shifts Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (with additional weekend work)
Salary: Circa £39,000 per annum (including allowance) + 10% Bonus + Overtime Available
The Company:
My client is a national energy recovery company, with over 300 sites across the country. This ethical, sector leading firm is seeking a 360 excavator / forklift operator with industrial / manufacturing / construction industry or similar environment work experience to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Traffic management & Operating heavy plant
- Operating forklift trucks and other machinery as required
- Weighbridge operation & Conducting plant checks
- Managing Tipping Hall operations
- Assist with all shutdown activities within the plant, ensuring plant downtime is minimized; carry out front line maintenance to maintain plant availability.
- Operate weighbridges (including automated systems), weigh vehicles, and complete tickets as required.
- Report any potential safety issues and control hazards as required.
- Carry out risk assessments to ensure activities are completed safely at all times.
- Carry out regular housekeeping to ensure a high standard of site cleanliness.
Requirements:
- Expertise in operating mobile equipment
- Certification in lifting/slinging or forklift truck (FLT) operation
- Hold a valid 360 excavator licence or loading shovel ticket.
- Knowledge of safe work systems, work permits, procedures, risk assessments, and relevant safety documentation
- Capacity to think critically and effectively resolve problems efficiently
