Marketing Events Coordinator

I am working with a rapidly growing construction company who are looking for a Marketing and Events coordinator to join their team to assist the Head of Marketing with delivering the marketing strategy and all areas within the marketing department. The Marketing and Events coordinator will be responsible for organising all corporate hospitality and staff events and ensuing brand management within the company. More about the role:

  • * Assist with the creation, development and execution of the Marketing Strategy and Marketing Plan.
  • * Organise all corporate hospitality events, including staff events
  • * Assist with any business development requirements, organising corporate luncheons and dinners.
  • * Assist with the creation, development and updating of marketing and sales materials.
  • * Assist with the development and delivery of social media content, issuing posts and management.
  • * Assist with the creation, development and management of email marketing campaigns.
  • * Assist with the development and updating of website content.
  • * Assist with the development and delivery of internal communications to staff.
  • * Create and maintain completed construction project profiles.
  • * Maintain marketing and business contact lists, including the updating of marketing systems.
  • * Organise all branded merchandise and clothing, including managing the stock control/ordering process for all current and future requirements.
  • * Ensure the brand management and corporate identity guidelines/requirements are implemented and adhered to by staff, including the recommendation of enhancements/improvements.
  • * Ensure all marketing expenditures and the marketing budget are used most effectively and profitably.

What we need from you:

  • * Previous experience in administration, sales or marketing role
  • * Previous events experience of around 2 years minimum
  • * A background in the construction industry is desirable
  • * IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • * Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • * Good time management and organisation skills.
  • * Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • * Interest in developing your marketing skills, both theoretical and practical.

PLEASE NOTE: FOR THE ROLE YOU WILL BE OFFICE BASED 5 DAYS A WEEK SO YOU MUST HAVE A FULL DRIVERS LICENSE AND CAR.
