Electrician

We are currently looking for an Electrician to join HMS!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in vacant housing units, ensuring compliance with national standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems, and provide certifications of compliance.
  • Diagnose electrical issues efficiently and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and reports on inspections and certifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, standards, and technologies for continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Utilise IT and communications equipment.
  • Deliver recognised industry standards for compliance, quality, and productivity.
  • Avail of individual and corporate training and development.
  • Drive a company van.

Skills & Experience

  • Time served apprenticeship.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Qualification EMTA 17/18th edition.
  • 2391 Electrical Testing Qualification.
  • CSCS Card at appropriate level
