Title: SQL Database Administrator
Location: Solihull
Salary: £55K to £60K + Benefits
Terms: Permanent, Full Time
Work Pattern: Probation Period is fully on-site, following probation completion, it'll be 1 p/w in the office
An international client is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to join their Data team with varied skills across Administration, Infrastructure, Engineering, and Architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Performance tuning
- Backup & Recovery
- Build future strategy
- Security management
- Optimise SQL queries
- Incident management
- Optimise infrastructure
- Build solutions from scratch
- Monitor database performance
- Identify where to implement best practice
- DBA Tasks: Upgrades, Backup, recovery, migrations
- Capacity planning and optimisation (performance & cost)
Requirement:
- SSIS, SSRS
- Microsoft Azure
- SQL Server HA & DR
- Take ownership of SQL
- MS-SQL, T-SQL, SQL 2016/2019
- MS Windows OS 2012 R2 - 2019
- Significant SQL Server Background
- Experience with configuration management
- Experience migrating on-prem to private and public clouds
- Strong performance monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting
- Desirable: PowerBI and Tableau skills.
