Service providers. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Sales Manager for one of our esteemed clients, supervising an existing team of office-based Mortgage Advisors, covering various estate agency offices in the East London and Essex area.

About the Role

This exciting Mortgage Sales Manager role offers a fantastic opportunity for and ambitious, driven and experienced mortgage professional to supervise a thriving team of Mortgage Advisors, based in various estate agency offices in and around the East London and Essex area.

Role Overview:

As a Mortgage Sales Manager, you will lead and manage a team of Mortgage and Protection Advisors based in estate agency branches in and around the East London and Essex area. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the team of Mortgage Advisors and Mortgage Brokers achieves sales targets and provides exceptional service to clients seeking mortgage and protection products. You will be responsible for driving performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering professional development within your team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead and motivate: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of mortgage and protection advisors embedded within estate agencies.
  • Management: Supervise, motivate, and support a team of Mortgage and Protection Advisors.
  • Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews and set individual and team targets.
  • Drive sales excellence: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise mortgage completions and protection product sales.
  • Coaching and development: Coach, mentor, and train your team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance champion: Ensure all team members adhere to FCA regulations and best practices.
  • Build strong relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with the estate agency staff, including area directors, branch managers and sales negotiators.
  • Performance management: Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide feedback to optimise results.
  • Targets: Drive the achievement of sales targets for mortgage and protection products.
  • Stay informed: Keep your team updated on the latest market trends and mortgage products.
  • Report and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on team performance, sales activities, and market trends.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 5 years' proven experience in mortgage sales or a similar financial services role.
  • Relevant Mortgage qualifications, such as CeMAP, CF1 & CF6.
  • Live within an easy commute of the East London and Essex area.
  • Proven track record of success in mortgage sales management.
  • A strong understanding of the UK mortgage market and a desire to stay informed of market changes.
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and develop a network of referral partners.
  • A highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to motivate and coach a team of Mortgage Advisors and Mortgage Brokers to achieve their full potential.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
  • A confident and articulate individual who thrives in a target-driven environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

The Package

  • Competitive basic salary of £50,000 with guaranteed uplift to £65,000 for 6 months.
  • On-target earnings (OTE) of £75,000 - £85,000 per annum, with a lucrative commission structure.
