HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunities – Day & Night Shifts Available

is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers for DHL in Welham Green, Hertfordshire. We have both Day and Night Shift positions available with competitive pay rates and immediate starts.
_Day Shift Details: _
- Basic Rate: £20.66 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £27.48 per hour (after 46.25 hours weekly)
- Saturday Rate: £27 per hour for all hours
- Sunday Rate: £28 per hour for all hours
- Shift Schedule:
Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday
- Start Times: Various start times available to suit
- Guaranteed Work: 5 days a week
- Plus Holiday Pay
_Night Shift Details: _
- Basic Rate: £24.58 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £27.48 per hour (after 46.25 hours weekly)
- Saturday Rate: £27 per hour for all hours
- Sunday Rate: £28 per hour for all hours
- Shift Schedule:
Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday
- Start Times: Between 19:00 PM - 05:00 AM
- Guaranteed Work: 5 days a week
- Plus Holiday Pay
The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 1 license, relevant experience in driving heavy goods vehicles, and a good understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of products.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies as well as company policies and procedures.
- Handle roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license (Held 1 year +).
- Minimum 6 month of experience as a Class 1 Driver.
- No more than six penalty points on licence and no major endorsement codes.
- In-date CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- A good understanding of Drivers hours, Regulations, and Working time directive.
